Generate additional income through the sale of produced electricity
The issues
Primeur 49, a produce company located in Beaupréau-en-Mauges, made the decision to commit to the energy transition by partnering with Wewise for the installation of two photovoltaic systems on its site. This initiative is part of the company’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and developing its business in a sustainable manner.
A major project for green energy production
The two photovoltaic systems, the first installed in 2020 and the second in 2022, were designed to meet the growing energy needs of Primeur 49. This installation, consisting of 553 solar panels covering 1,200 m² of rooftop space, allows the company to produce a large portion of its electricity, thus reducing its reliance on fossil fuels and minimizing its environmental impact.
Economic and environmental benefits
Beyond reducing its carbon footprint, Primeur 49 also generates additional income from the sale of part of the electricity produced by the photovoltaic systems. This significant financial contribution helps the company strengthen its growth and plan for new projects.
