In general, Wewise France is committed to complying with current regulations, and has integrated internal procedures to ensure that the basic principles of data protection are respected, such as :

- Take all reasonable steps to ensure that data is accurate and up-to-date,

Collection of personal data

Your personal data may only be collected by WEWISE France and its partners when you wish to entrust them to us in order to manage your requests or your contract. The data collected varies according to the type of relationship you have with WEWISE France. Where appropriate, we will specify the nature of the information concerned in the general terms and conditions of sale, which you can always consult beforehand.

For example, if you wish to subscribe to a pellet purchase contract, we will need the following information:

  • Last name, first name,
  • Gender
  •  E-mail address
  • Zip code

  • Telephone number

Your rights regarding your personal data

How to exercise your rights ?

You can exercise these rights by sending a simple request by e-mail to the following address: contact@wewise.fr, specifying the context and subject of your request so that we can reply as quickly as possible, and enclosing a copy of your identity document.

When making this request, we will verify your identity to ensure that your data is not passed on to a third party with malicious intent.

In the event of a request for access, we undertake to respond within a maximum of one month. Please note that this period may be extended by two months in the event of a complex request or due to the number of requests. In this case, the person requesting access will be notified within one month of the request.

In the event of a dispute, you have the right to lodge a complaint directly with the CNIL. How can I receive offers and information from WEWISE France and its partners, or stop receiving them?

If you are a WEWISE France customer, we may send you information and offers relating to your contract, the product or service provided, and/or concerning similar products or services that we think may be of interest to you. You can always object to such mailings by unchecking the appropriate box when completing the contact form.

You can also give us your consent to receive offers and information by ticking a box such as “I agree to receive commercial information from Wewise France and all its subsidiaries”. WEWISE France brings together several companies, and may relay offers from its partners if we think they are likely to be of interest to you.

We remind you that we do not sell or rent your data to third parties under any circumstances. These partners are only service providers who work on our behalf under a service contract or a subcontracting agreement for processing or research purposes, or partners who offer complementary services to ours and with whom we have joint projects.

If you have given your consent to receive these offers and information, you may request this at any time by contacting us at the following address: contact@wewise.fr. In this case, you will no longer receive the offers and information in question. However, you can change your mind at any time by contacting our customer service department at the above address.

Who is responsible for the personal information collected on this site?

The “Wewise.fr” website is owned and managed by Wewise France (a simplified joint stock company with a single shareholder and capital of 10,000 euros, headquartered at 47/53, rue Raspail, 92594 Levallois-Perret Cedex, registered with the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 528 434 111).

Special Notice - if you are under 15 years of age

Our Website is not intended for minors under the age of 15 and we will not knowingly collect, use, provide or otherwise process any personal information from minors under the age of 15.  We therefore also ask you, if you are under the age of 15, not to send us your personal information (for example, your name, postal address and e-mail address). If you are under 15 years of age and would nevertheless like to ask a question or use this Website and are asked to provide personal data, please ask your parent or guardian to do this for you.

What is the purpose of collecting your data?

The general purpose of our Website is to provide you with information about the nature of WEWISE France companies and our activities. We may collect and use personal information (including name, surname and e-mail address) in order to provide you with the services or information you require more efficiently.

This data is processed for the purposes of managing the Wewise.fr website, managing the offers and promotions available on the site, and for advertising, sales prospecting and customer management purposes. Other information collected may be used, where applicable, to process and execute your orders, to create your contract, and to enable us to execute it. Information requested as part of a contract is necessary for the proper execution of that contract (e.g. your address is required for delivery).

If you use our services when you are outside the EU, your information may be transferred outside the EU in order to provide the services to you. Data retention period

  • Data relating to your Contract: 5 years from the end date of the contract or from the last sale (i.e. the limitation period for legal action);
  • Invoices: 10 years from date of issue;
  • Prospective customers: 3 years from the date of last activity on the Site;
  • Cookies: 6 months maximum from the date of deposit;
  • Identification data (name, e-mail address, etc.): 3 years from the last date of connection to the Site.

Collection of non-personal information

We may automatically collect non-personal information about you, such as the type of Internet browsers you use or the Web site from which you linked to our Web site. We may also gather statistical information about you that you have submitted to the Site (for example, the city in which you live).  You cannot be identified from this information and it is used solely to help us provide an efficient service on this Web Site.
